The new 2024 Jeep Wrangler is the latest installment of one of America’s most recognizable SUVs. Available in a variety of trim levels, it caters to the needs of different customers. Whether you want a car for your daily commute in the city or occasional off-road driving, the 2024 Wrangler has got you covered.
One of the new things on the latest Wrangler is the plugin powertrain that enables you to save on your fuel costs. However, it still sports a classic boxy design with an updated grille. Marshall CDJR is your Jeep dealership in Crittenden, KY and has all the latest Jeep Wrangler trim levels, including the ones below.
The new Jeep Wrangler trims have received a refresh in terms of technology and types of wheels, so you should expect something better than 2023. Two new trims include the Rubicon X and Sport S 4xe. Other trim levels are Sport, Willys, High Altitude, Sahara, Rubicon, and Rubicon 392.
Unless you’ve used the Jeep Wrangler before, you’re unlikely to understand the unique features of each of these trims. Marshall CDJR breaks down each trim to help you determine which will most likely meet your needs.
The 2024 Wrangler Sport surprisingly has several impressive features for an entry-level trim. It offers too much for a minimal price, thanks to the 285-hp V6 engine with 260 pound-feet of torque and six-speed automatic transmission (eight-speed transmission is optional). The four-wheel drive vehicle has 32-inch tires on 17-inch steel wheels.
It has a Uconnect 5® infotainment system with a 12.3-inch display that works with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Besides, you can listen to AM/FM/satellite radio via the eight built-in speakers. It also includes skid plates, fog lights, and ParkView rear cameras.
The new 2024 Jeep Wrangler Sport is straightforward to drive in the city, on the highway, or offroad. Its steering wheel is both manual tilt and telescoping capable. The Sport can transform into an agile beast with the eight-speed transmission and 270-hp, four-cylinder, turbocharged engine options.
The 2024 Jeep Wrangler Sport S has all the base trim features with a few improvements. For example, its advanced safety features include advanced brake assist, forward collision warning, and adaptive cruise control. Comfort features include air conditioning and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
Unlike the base trim, which has only one body configuration, the Sport S offers a choice between the two-door and four-door styles. In both formats, you’ll find the 285-hp V6 engine with the option of a 375-hp 4xe PHEV engine with 470 pounds-feet of torque.
It has 32-inch tires on substantially larger 27-inch aluminum wheels. Besides the standard 8-speaker audio system, upgrading to the premium Alpine® Audio System is available. It also sports power door locks, windows, heated mirrors, keyless entry, and automatic headlamps.
The 2024 Jeep Wrangler Willys is better prepared for off-road driving than the Sport and Sport S configurations thanks to its 10.8-inch ground clearance, 33-inch all-terrain tires, Offroad+, and rear-locking differential. It maneuvers smoothly off-road, delivering better performance than the two previous lower trims.
All its two-door and four-door configurations feature either a 3.6-liter V6 or a 4xe PHEV powertrain. Besides having all the features of the trims above, the Wrangler Willys comes with all-weather floor mats, LED fog lamps, and LED headlamps.
So, you can use it to haul additional loads thanks to the Trailer Tow and Heavy-Duty Electrical Group. Plus, there’s an optional Xtreme 35 Package with 17-inch beadlock wheels and 35-inch all-terrain tires to deliver even better results off-road.
If you’re looking for a Jeep model with the perfect balance between utmost comfort and offroad capability, the Wrangler Sahara is the vehicle for you. Its standard features, such as a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, proximity key entry, remote start, and dual-zone automatic climate control, exceed anything you would have experienced with the abovementioned vehicles.
Unlike the other trims, available in two configurations, the 2024 Jeep Wrangler Sahara comes only in a four-door guise. The 2.0-liter, 270-hp, four-cylinder, turbocharged engine with 295 pounds-feet of torque is standard for this trim. There’s also the option of the 375-hp 4xe PHEV engine.
External elements include fender flares and a body-color grille. Its 32-inch tires are wrapped around 18-inch aluminum wheels. Inside, the driver information display got an upgrade for 2024.
If you’re looking for enhanced offroad capability, maneuverability, and luxury, get the 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. It builds on the great features of the Sahara by providing additional amenities.
Besides 17-inch wheels with 33-inch all-terrain tires and Offroad+, it has Tru-Lok lockers in the front and the rear, Dana 44 HD full-float rear axle, Rock-Trac 4:1 low-range gearing, rock rails, and an electronic front sway-bar disconnect.
Optional offroad features include the Jeep 4xe Power Box, Xtreme 35 Package, and steel bumpers with a factory Warn Winch.
Whichever the car dealership, you should be able to find cars with both the two-door and four-door configurations. The 4xe PHEV powertrain is optional for this vehicle.
The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon X is all-new for 2024. It comes with even more impressive features than those of the original Rubicon. Inside, you should find a heated steering wheel, 12-way power-adjustable front seats, acoustic front glass, navigation, and a nine-speaker Alpine audio system.
Additionally, it features a factory Warn winch and the Jeep 4xe Power Box. This means you can power small electronics and appliances while out there camping. A front-facing TrailCam offroad camera system and a Uconnect® 5 NAV with a 12.3-inch touchscreen display enable ultimate navigation offroad.
Buyers can choose between the two-door or four-door version of the Rubicon X. The 4xe PHEV powertrain is optional for the Rubicon X.
The ultimate 2024 Jeep Wrangler trim combines the best Rubicon and High-Altitude features. Its standard features include a Selec-Trac 2.72:1 full-time transfer case, Fox shock absorbers, steel bumpers, LED headlights, and a body-color hardtop.
It offers an unrivaled comfortable driving experience with 12-way power-adjustable front seats, Nappa leather heated seats, and a 9-speaker Alpine premium audio system.
For the Rubicon 392, there is only a four-door model. Its 470-hp, 6.4-liter V8 engine with 470 pound-feet of torque makes it the most powerful in the Wrangler group. Add to that its eight-speed automatic transmission, and you have both an on-road and off-road beast.
